Doors: 5:30pm / Film starts: 6:15pm
Film description: Elemental takes viewers on a journey to better understand wildfire. In the film, you'll visit fire labs to learn why some homes survive when others do not; listen firsthand to firefighters and residents who have survived the deadliest fires; learn from Native Americans about how fire can benefit nature; and follow researchers who study the effects of fire on forests. In the wake of destructive fires across the nation, the solutions are now more timely and urgent than ever. We hope that this screening will inspire residents and visitors to discover how we can keep our homes and communities safe. Run time: 84 min.
