Deck the Walls Holiday Market it open for the season! Each year, the Carbondale Arts gallery transforms into a beautiful market filled with quality one-of-a-kind items, featuring 70 local and regional artisans and small businesses. Support our makers and local economy over the holidays!

We are excited to invite families to our early literacy story times. Designed for all ages, we will enjoy stories, songs, and action rhymes in the Community Room. Sitting still is not a requirement for storytime. Young children can reap the benefits of storytelling and songs even while wandering. Give it a try. We would love to see you!

Con gran emoción deseamos invitar a todas las familias a nuestra hora de cuentos para respaldar la alfabetización temprana, creada para peques de todas las edades y presentada en nuestra Sala Comunitaria. Disfrutaremos de historias, canciones y juegos que combinan las rimas con el movimiento. La capacidad de permanecer inmóviles no es una expectativa para la hora de los cuentos, puesto que los beneficios de la narrativa y la música siguen siendo de gran beneficio incluso para peques que prefieren explorar mientras escuchan. Roaring Fork Insight Meditation meets for meditation and community discussion every Wednesday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Basalt from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, one-hour online Zoom meditations are held from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. All are welcome.

Students will learn various handbuilding techniques to create and decorate a Menorah to take home and use just in time for Hanukkah 2026. Peace and Light!

Come hang out at the Teen Café on early release Wednesdays. Middle and high schoolers can play the switch, create art, eat snacks, enjoy coffee, or work on homework. Feel free to hang out for a while or come and go as you please. Must be in Grades 5+ to enter the Teen Café.

Do you have creative writing ideas stirring in your imagination? Do you like to read and write poems, plays, stories, songs, and more? Come to The Creative Writing Club for Teens at the Basalt Regional Library! Create and respond to fun writing prompts, learn writing style strategies, play wordplay games, empower your voice during our open mic sessions, receive prizes, and write, write, write your masterpieces. Bring water, a snack, and a journal. Registration is strongly encouraged to get an accurate count of participants. Led by Jessica Amber Barnum.

Kids' classes incorporate a mixture of technique and relevant games. As they progress, they will have the opportunity to test for colored belts.
