An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

Éste es un momento divertido e interesante en el cual tú y tu peque pueden escuchar historias, participar en movimientos que fortalecen la motricidad, experimentar actividades sensoriales e interactuar con más peques y personas adultas a su cuidado. Este programa está diseñado para peques de 0 a 3 años de edad. El programa será facilitado en inglés.

Leadville's Irish Weekend runs from September 18-20 with a myriad of events taking place in the Silver City.
Friday (18th) night will include a sing-song at the Irish Miners' Memorial in Evergreen Cemetery, beginning around 7.
Saturday (19th) kicks off with the Practice St. Patrick's Day Parade at noon. There is a book reading at the Healy House at 4:30. And the Young Dubliners take the stage at the Tabor Opera House at 7 pm.
Sunday (20th) will see a convocation at the Irish Memorial at 11 am as attendees honor the over 1,300 paupers buried in the historic Evergreen Cemetery.
There will be specials all weekend long in the Cloud City and all are welcome.

KDNK is kicking off our Fall Fund Drive with a block party at 2nd and Main Street in Downtown Carbondale. Typical Ghost will be playing a live show from 6-9pm, with libations provided by Mountain Heart Brewing, RKY MTN Adult Drinks, and Bom Dia Bubbles. Mama's Pierogi food truck will also be on site. Celebrate community radio and dance the night away.

YOU ALREADY KNOW is an intimate day retreat for women designed to help you quiet the outside noise, reconnect with your intuition, and build the self-trust to follow where it leads.

Led by shamanic healer and spiritual mentor Meghan Gilroy, the day will include a guided shamanic journey, somatic exploration, journaling and reflection, followed by an intimate afternoon of shared conversation and guidance.

You’ll have the opportunity to bring a question, decision, or area of your life where you’re seeking clarity. Through intuitive questioning and reflection, Meghan will help you explore what may be getting in the way of hearing and trusting your own inner wisdom.

Zumba is a global dance phenomenon that invites the body and spirit into a state of pure, rhythmic connection. Originally inspired by the vibrant dance traditions of Latin America — Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, and Reggaeton — Zumba has since grown into a dynamic fusion of world rhythms, blending Afrobeat, Bollywood, Bhangra, Belly Dance, Hip Hop, and more into an electrifying celebration of movement.

At its core, Zumba is about intuitive dance expression. Rather than focusing on strict choreography or technical breakdowns, the structure of a Zumba class mirrors the architecture of music itself — simple, repeatable patterns tied to the chorus, verses, and bridges of each song. This approach allows dancers to anticipate transitions naturally, freeing them from the constraints of counting steps and encouraging a deeper, more instinctive relationship with rhythm.

Zumba invites a profound reconnection to the joy of embodied movement: a space where strength meets sensuality, sweat becomes celebration, and music becomes a global language that transcends borders.
For seasoned dancers, Zumba offers a refreshing invitation to return to the essence of why we dance — not for perfection, but for expression, connection, and exhilaration. It is a journey through cultures, rhythms, and emotions, all channeled through the most ancient instrument we possess: our own bodies.

All dance levels welcome!

Prepares adults for the U.S. citizenship and naturalization exam and interview. Covers key areas of U.S. history, government, civics, geography, and the structure of federal, state, and local governments. Students will also explore opportunities for community and civic participation and discuss current events. The course includes test-taking strategies along with essential English writing and speaking skills, and interview preparation to help build confidence and familiarity with the naturalization process. Class is taught in English and Spanish, but all languages are accommodated, and all are welcome. This course is offered in partnership between Colorado Mountain College and the Carbondale Public Library.
Prepara a los adultos para el examen y la entrevista de ciudadanía y naturalización de los Estados Unidos. Abarca temas clave de historia, gobierno, educación cívica y geografía de EE. UU., así como la estructura de los gobiernos federal, estatal y local. Los estudiantes también explorarán oportunidades de participación comunitaria y cívica, y debatirán sobre temas de actualidad. Doors open at 5:30pm for an unforgettable evening featuring delicious food, delectable desserts, exciting fundraising, wonderful company, and our crowd-favorite "Fashion & Fur" canine fashion show starring adopted pets and their people. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. Every dollar raised benefits the Thumper Fund, providing lifesaving medical care for shelter pets in need and helping connect pets to their people in a community united by the responsible care of healthy, happy, and thriving pets.
