Jodi Barr and Tammy Nimmo
Rich Allen/Aspen Daily News
At a recent forum in Glenwood Springs hosted by CoWest Noticias Collaborative ahead of the November election, opponents running for seats on the Roaring Fork School District Board of Directors faced off. Two areas within the School District have elections this year, District A and District E. Jodi Barr and Tammy Nimmo are running for the District A seat. District A takes in the territory south of highway 82 from old Snowmass to Carbondale, and its western boundary is Hwy 133 from Carbondale to Marble. KDNK’s Lily Jones brings highlights, starting with school safety, as Tammy Nimmo was questioned by Moderator Raleigh Burleigh, editor of the Sopris Sun newspaper.
